Кондак 1 Вибраний Жениху душ і сердець, воплоченням Своїм і смертю на хресті обручив Собі на віки увесь людський рід, і дав нам в обітницю на вічне життя пречисте Тіло і Кров Свою. Ось по голосі Твоєму і я недостойний, осмілюючись, приходжу до божественної трапези Твоєї, і вражений величністю її, взиваю: Ісусе, Боже серця мого, прийди і з’єднай мене з Тобою на віки! Kontakion 1 Chosen Bridegroom of our hearts and souls, through your incarnation and death on the Cross, you have betrothed all mankind to yourself forever and have given us as a pledge of eternal life your most pure Body and Blood. Lo! At your call, I, though unworthy, dare to approach your Divine Table, and, struck by its majesty, I cry: Jesus, God of my heart, come and unite me to yourself forever! Ikos 1 You sent your angel to the Prophet Isaiah with a live coal from the heavenly altar that his lips might be purified thereby, when, beholding you seated upon your throne, he was distressed over his impurity. And how shall I, who am defiled in body and soul, dare to approach to partake of your Divine Mysteries for Communion except you yourself purify me from on high? Wherefore, I cry out to you from the depths of my soul: Jesus most good, touch also my impure lips with the fire of your Grace! Jesus, burn the thorns of my many transgressions! Кондак 2 Опанований бажанням спожити з учнями останню Пасху перед стражданням Твоїм, та передати їм серед неї останню і найбільшу запоруку любови Твоєї, два дні раніше вислав наперед єси двох із них у Єрусалим, і пішовши, вони приготовили її. Навчаючись із цього, як і нам слід своєчасно приготовити себе до споживання нашої Божественної пасхи, тобто Тіла і Крови Твоєї, благодарно взиваю до Тебе: Алилуя! Kontakion 2 Greatly desiring to eat a last Passover with your disciples before your Passion, that in the midst thereof you might give them the last and greatest pledge of your love, you sent two of them to Jerusalem two days before you that thus they might prepare it. Hence, learning how we, too, ought to prepare ourselves in advance to eat of the divine Passover of your Body and Blood, I cry out to you in thanksgiving: Alleluia! Кондак 3 Батьки ваші споживали манну в пустині і померли : я – хліб, що зійшов з неба, і коли хтось їстиме його, буде жити вічно: і хліб, який я дам – Тіло Моє, яке я дам за життя світу – сказав єси юдеям, які прагнули побачити від Тебе знамено з небес, подібне до манни Мойсеєвої. І ми чуючи і бачачи, що збулося проречене, зі страхом кличемо: Алилуя!  Ікос 3 Уставши з вечері, як оповідає святий Йоан, і підперезавшись рушником, помив єси ноги учням, навчаючи цим не приступати до божественної трапези Твоєї у гріхах наших, необмитих слізьми покаяння. Кондак 5 Споживаючи вечерю з учнями, взяв хліб, поблагословив і переломив, подав єси їм, кажучи: «Прийміть, їжте, це є Тіло Моє, що за вас ламається, на відпущення гріхів.» Потім же чашу подав єси, кажучи: «Пийте з неї всі: це є Кров Моя Нового Завіту, що за вас проливається, на відпущення гріхів.» До цього божественного і пресолодкого голосу прислухавшись, благодарно взиваємо: Алилуя! And thereafter, having given them the Cup, you said: Drink, this is My Blood of the New Covenant, which is shed for you and for many for the remission of sings. Від такого жорстокосердя хай буду ізбавлений благодаттю Твоєю, взиваючи завжди до Тебе: Алилуя! Що на спасіння повинно було бути, на смерть і погибель йому обернулося. Тому перед таким судом справедливости Твоєї правди, зі страхом і трепетом кличу Тобі: Алилуя! Однак і це проникливе слово не докорило закам’янілій душі, у злі ожорсточеній. Тому, знаючи нестійкість і моєї волі, боюся, щоби не дав Тобі колись і я неблагодарний поцілунок Юди. Тому Ти Сам укріпи мене благодаттю Твоєю, щоб з благорозумним розбійником завжди взивав: Алилуя! Ікос 9 Отче, хай усі одно будуть: як Ти в Мені, і я в Тобі, хай і ті в Нас одно будуть, щоб і світ увірував, що я від Тебе вийшов: Так виголосив єси в останній молитві до Отця. And, knowing the inconstancy of my own will, I fear at any time I, too, give you the kiss of Judas, ungrateful as I am. But do you yourself strengthen me by your Grace, that with the good thief I may ever cry out to you: Alleluia!
