Edmonton Eparchy Summer Camps
We hope and pray that that through this summer’s activities, children, teens and young adults will form friendships, and learn about their faith and culture in a safe and fun environment.
Here is some important news for the children, teens or young adults in your family!
Camp Oselia Children's Camp (July 20-August 2, 2008) is open to children aged 8 to 13.
The goal of the camp is to provide a safe positive environment for children to play and learn together, as members of God's family.
Be part of the fun! This year our theme is BECOMING SUPERHEROES, like the saints but with much cooler costumes!
Cost for two weeks is $350.00 (with discounts for additional children from the same immediate family) which includes accommodation, meals and a t-shirt. Families are welcome to come out and join the campers on Family Day, Sunday July 27th.
Although primarily advertised in the Ukrainian Catholic Church, children do not have to be Ukrainian Catholic to attend.

Camp St. Basil Ukrainian Catholic Summer Camp (July 6-19, 2008)
For children aged 7 to 14 years. We encourage all youth of our parishes to attend.
Cost for two weeks is $310.00, plus $270.00 for each additional child from the same immediate family.

Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton Acolyte Camp at Camp St. Basil (August 10-16, 2008)
The Acolytes (Altar Boys) of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton serve an integral part in our churches and again are given an opportunity to attend the Annual Acolyte Camp to learn more about their church, faith and each other. The camp will offer spiritual, cultural and recreational activities. Program activities include daily Divine Liturgy, religious instruction, sports and water front activities, and crafts.
The registration fee is $175.00 (late registration is $200.00).
All active Acolytes of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy 7 years and older, and boys of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy wishing to become active Acolytes are invited to attend.
St. Josaphat Cathedral Day Camp: Cosmic City – Explore the Awesome Wonder of God (June 30-July 4 & July 7-11, 2008)
For children aged 3-8. Fire the rockets and prepare to blast off on an out of this world adventure that brings the Awesome Wonder of God to life. Children will create space crafts, play exciting games, sing upbeat sons and enjoy snacks that are out of this world. Please note: there will be no camp on Canada Day.
The registration fee is $60 per week for half days, $95 per week for full days and $80 for the shortened first week.

St. George Ukrainian Day Camp: Ukrainian Olympics (August 11-15, 2008)
For children aged 6-12. Ukrainian language, songs, drama, dance, art, cooking and games. 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at 11305 - 95 A Street, Edmonton.
The registration fee is $100.00
