З ними же моліться Христові за тих, що з вірою вас хвалять: Слава тому, що дав вам кріпость, слава тому, що вас вінчав, слава тому, що через вас подає всім зцілення. Кондак (глас 6): Все воїнство світу покинувши, на небесах ви до Владики прилучилися, сорок страстотерпців Господніх: крізь вогонь бо й воду пройшовши, блаженні, достойно прийняли ви славу з небес і вінців миожество.	Kontakion (tone 6): Leaving behind every army on earth, you cleaved to the Master in heaven, O Forty passion-bearers of the Lord. For passing through fire and water, you rightly received glory from heaven and a myriad of crowns, O blessed saints.
Прокімен (глас 5): Ти, Господи, захорониш нас і збережеш нас від роду цього і повік (Пс 11,8 ). Стих: Спаси мене, Господи, бо не стало праведного (Пс 11,2).	Prokimenon (tone 5): You, O Lord, will guard us and will keep us from this generation, and for ever (Ps 11:8). Verse: Save me, O Lord, for there is no longer left a just man (Ps 11:2).
Апостол: (Євр 12,1-10) Браття, маючи навколо себе таку велику хмару свідків, відкиньмо всякий тягар і гріх, що так легко обмотує, і біжімо витривало до змагання, що призначене нам, вдивляючися пильно в Ісуса, засновника й завершителя віри, який, замість радости, що перед ним була, витерпів хрест, на сором не звертаючи уваги, і який возсів праворуч Божого престолу. Тож думайте про того, хто витерпів від грішників таке велике проти себе противенство, щоб ви, ізнемігшись, не впали духом. Ви ще не протиставились до крови в боротьбі проти гріха. І ви забули попередження, що вам, як синам, говорить: «Мій сину, не легковаж Господнім каранням і не падай духом, коли він тебе картає, бо кого Господь любить, того карає, і б'є кожного сина, якого приймає.» На вашу науку ви терпите. Бог поводиться з вами, як із синами. Хіба є такий син, що його батько не карає? Коли ж вас виховано без картання, – якого всі зазнають, – то ви незаконновроджені, а не сини. А втім, коли ми мали батьків тілесних як виховників і їх поважали, то чи ж не багато більш ми маємо коритися Отцеві духів, і будем жити? Ті бо на короткий час, як знали, нас карали; він же – нам на користь, щоб нас зробити учасниками святости своєї.	Epistle: (Heb 12:1-10) Brethren, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us rid ourselves of every burden and sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the leader and perfecter of faith. For the sake of the joy that lay before him he endured the cross, despising its shame, and has taken his seat at the right of the throne of God. Consider how he endured such opposition from sinners, in order that you may not grow weary and lose heart. In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood. You have also forgotten the exhortation addressed to you as sons: "My son, do not disdain the discipline of the Lord or lose heart when reproved by him; for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines; he scourges every son he acknowledges." Endure your trials as "discipline"; God treats you as sons. For what "son" is there whom his father does not discipline? If you are without discipline, in which all have shared, you are not sons but bastards. Besides this, we have had our earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them. Should we not (then) submit all the more to the Father of spirits and live? They disciplined us for a short time as seemed right to them, but he does so for our benefit, in order that we may share his holiness.
Алилуя (глас 4): Воскликніте Господеві, вся земля, співайте ж імені його, віддайте славу хвалі його (Пс 65,2). Стих: Бо ти випробував нас, Боже; перетопив нас, як перетоплюється срібло (Пс 65,10).	Alleluia (tone 4): Shout to the Lord, all the earth, sing now to His name, give glory to His praise (Ps 65:2). Verse: For You, O God, have tested us, You have tried us by fire as silver is tried (Ps 65:10).
Євангеліє: (Мт 20,1-16) Сказав Господь: «Царство Небесне подібне до чоловіка-господаря, який рано-вранці вийшов найняти робітників у свій виноградник. Домовившись із робітниками по динарію денно, послав їх у свій виноградник. А коли вийшов, близько третьої години побачив інших, що бездільно стояли на ринку. Він же їм сказав: Ідіть і ви в мій виноградник, що буде по справедливості, дам вам. І ті пішли. Коли ж знову вийшов, близько шостої та дев'ятої години, зробив так само. Близько одинадцятої вийшовши, стрінув інших, що стояли, і сказав їм: Чого тут увесь день бездільно стоїте? Кажуть йому: Бо ніхто не найняв нас. Сказав їм: Ідіть і ви в виноградник. Коли ж настав вечір, власник виноградника наказав своєму управителеві: Поклич но робітників та роздай їм заплату, почавши від останніх аж: до перших. Ті, що прийшли близько одинадцятої години, взяли по динарію. Коли приступили перші, думали, що більше дістануть. І вони взяли по динарію. А взявши, стали ремствувати на господаря, кажучи: Оті останні одну годину попрацювали, а ти зрівняв їх з нами, що зносили тягар і спекоту днини. Той, відповідаючи одному з них, сказав: Друже, не кривджу тебе; чи не за динарія погодився зо мною? Бери своє та йди! Хочу бо й цьому останньому дати, що й тобі. Хіба не дозволено мені робити зо своїм, що захочу? Чи око ж твоє лукаве з того, що я добрий?! Так то останні будуть перші, а перші – останні!»	Gospel: (Mt 20:1-16) The Lord said: "The kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out at dawn to hire laborers for his vineyard. After agreeing with them for the usual daily wage, he sent them into his vineyard. Going out about nine o'clock, he saw others standing idle in the marketplace, and he said to them, 'You too go into my vineyard, and I will give you what is just.' So they went off. (And) he went out again around noon, and around three o'clock, and did likewise. Going out about five o'clock, he found others standing around, and said to them, 'Why do you stand here idle all day?' They answered, 'Because no one has hired us.' He said to them, 'You too go into my vineyard.' When it was evening the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, 'Summon the laborers and give them their pay, beginning with the last and ending with the first.' When those who had started about five o'clock came, each received the usual daily wage. So when the first came, they thought that they would receive more, but each of them also got the usual wage. And on receiving it they grumbled against the landowner, saying, 'These last ones worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us, who bore the day's burden and the heat.' He said to one of them in reply, 'My friend, I am not cheating you. Did you not agree with me for the usual daily wage? Take what is yours and go. What if I wish to give this last one the same as you? (Or) am I not free to do as I wish with my own money? Are you envious because I am generous?' Thus, the last will be first, and the first will be last."
